If you’ve ever gone to a posh restaurant and been sat at the back, we’ve got some news for you…
A new Channel 4 documentary has claimed that top restaurants sit good-looking people near windows to entice members of the public who are passing in the street outside.
The documentary claims that ugly people are hidden away so people are not put off.
Researchers on Tricks of the Restaurant Trade sent undercover models to posh London diners, and of course, the models were sat at the front, near windows.
But when co-star Adam Pearson, who suffers with neurofibromatosis which leaves his face covered in tumours, visited the same restaurants he got some very different results.
He was led to the back or told there was no room at all.
Speaking of the experiment, Adam said:
It’s disappointing. The next time you get sat at the back of the restaurant, now you know why.
What do you make of this news? Ever been sat at the back?
