The property was built back in 1927 and sits on a 6 acre estate in the Holmby Hills. The owners of the Playboy Mansion – Playboy enterprises is looking for a figure of $200 million.
Real estate sources in the local area indicated that the mansion will not be sold for such a high price, based on recent property sales in the same area. Recent property sales were in the region of $60 million. However, taking into the consideration the history of the mansion, it is likely to be sold between $80 – $90 million.
One of the strings attached to purchasing the mansion is Hugh Hefner, he must stay and live in the mansion with the new owner until he dies.
